Nice guys are the true winners...

"people like to do business with people they like..."

Both on a business and a personal level, the most burning question is "how do I succeed?"

This usually translates to "How do I make more MONEY?"    And this is where you get distracted from the true purpose of business and personal success. You are down the path of profiteering and suddenly life is not FUN any more. In the process of making more money using the traditional competitive "them vs us" model, your life gets HARD!

Recently, I got a phone call from a prospect. She had a problem that I could fix. She had got my phone number from her friend who is a client of mine. Apparently, this statement swayed her: "If you really want a good roofer, that nice guy who did mine is the perfect person to call"

When she told me this, I was jolted out of my state. Surely, it is not so simple. Is this the secret to business success? When you are remembered as "that nice guy", it is the indelible link to more business with more of your target clients!

If you think that nice guys are taken advantage of, then you may be right. But then BAD GUYS are also taken for a ride also. Given the choice, I would rather be the nice guy. It is more FUN! And to top it all off (if you believe the Law of Attraction), nice guys attract Nice clients!
